Iron Mountain Road winds through the southern part of the Black Hills, providing breathtaking views, and a wonderfully challenging ride on your motorcycle, scooter or vehicle. It has a legendary reputation as one of the most scenic drives in the nation!

There are so many twists and turns that you will easily lose track of time and place while you enjoy the scenery and wildlife that you will encounter during your trip.  This scenic byway was built in 1933 to provide tourists with a slow moving road showcasing the Black Hills and Mt. Rushmore.

Spokane Creek Cabins and Campground is located on this spectacular road.  Souvenirs commemorating your journey along Iron Mountain Road can be purchased within our general store.  Don't let your accomplishment of navigating this wonderful and challenging road go without recognition.  T-shirts, Hoodies,  pins, patches, pint glasses, stickers and more can be found only at Spokane Creek Cabins and Campground general store.
